Satchels Maffey

Standing far above her already imposing fellow knights, Maffey is a woman of enormous build. Her grin reveals filed, pointed teeth, her lips are painted, and a cigar usually juts from her mouth. During the events of the past, her two-toned hair, light blended with dark, was parted straight down the center and shaped upward into a crownlike form, paired with horns and shaded glasses.

Her outfit then left much exposed: a frilled, open v-neck top baring her chest and stomach, a flowered skirt, twin belts cinched near her waist, and wraps around her forearms. A heavy fur draped from her shoulders, and she appears to have favored heeled footwear, which she wore when Edward Newgate sliced her body in two.

Maffey carries the warped morality common to the Celestial Dragons, sharing the sneering, coquettish manner of her fellow Knights of God. The lives of ordinary people mean nothing to her, and she was ready to put down a youthful Monkey D. Dragon for defying the nobles without a flicker of hesitation. Even so, she was glad to assist a comrade and swiftly recovered Shamrock as asked. Whether from faulty information or simple rush, she never confirmed that Shanks was anywhere nearby or that Dragon had actually died.

As a noble of the Satchels line, Maffey sits beyond the reach of common law and may act as she wishes so long as she does not defy the Celestial Dragons themselves. Her political weight is immense, letting her call down a Marine Admiral against anyone she deems a threat, though her standing among the Knights of God suggests she can fend for herself without one. By some unexplained method she can discharge a laser straight from her mouth.

A covenant struck with Imu, either the Depths or the Abyssal pact, boosted her strength and gifted her mystical traits. Chief among these is the deathlessness shared by every Knight of God, which let her knit herself back together after Whitebeard cleaved her in half. She also carries a sword, drawn in her bid to execute Dragon, though her broader skill with it stays unrecorded.
