Splash and Splatter

Splash and Splatter are newkama pirate twins remembered for one selfless act: when Sanji lay dying of blood loss on Fish-Man Island, the pair freely gave their own blood to save him, much to his eventual horror once he saw who his donors were.

Appearance

Near-identical twins, both are heavily muscled and rarely caught not flexing, their exaggerated faces buried under thick make-up, spiked brows, and long spiked hair, each branded with the Criminal logo. Hair and shirt color tell them apart: Splash goes brown-haired in a pink, star-fronted top, while Splatter is blond in a white one trimmed with blue; both wear black tights. Gigant Battle 2 swaps their palette to purple and yellow.

Personality

The two are flamboyantly effeminate, forever flaunting their physiques, and cap every sentence with a cooing word for silly followed by a heart. Beneath the bravado they are genuinely warm, proving it by donating blood to a stranger in need. Their shared dream is one day to reach the Kamabakka Kingdom.

History

Little is documented of their fighting ability, though they were nimble enough to slip past the New Fish-Man Pirates that captured crews like Gyro's. They had lived on Fish-Man Island for a while before the Straw Hats arrived. When Sanji bled out and no Fish-Man or merfolk would help due to an unspoken taboo, the twins stepped forward and gave their blood. A groggy Sanji mistook them for women until they revealed themselves fully, leaving him appalled.

The anime adds a later gag in which Chopper summons the pair in pink nurse dresses to treat a fantasizing Sanji, the sight of them snapping him out of it. Their nurse outfits hint at some medical knowledge there, though it is likely just a bit of fun.
