Fish-Man Island Collapses?! Shyarly's Prediction

Luffy's group scours the streets for a blood donor, but every fish-man refuses until Chopper notices humans slipping into a bar. Elsewhere, Ishilly and two friends stumble on the barrel Franky sealed Caribou inside, and, hoping it holds drink or treasure, they set about opening it. Sanji rouses from his transfusion, is told he rests at a friend's home, and racks his memory for how he was so gravely hurt, prompting Luffy and Usopp to beg him to stop before he loses more blood. The donors prove to be the okama twins Splash and Splatter, which throws Sanji into a screaming panic. Chopper then notices Luffy was poisoned yet unfazed, and Luffy chalks his resistance up to surviving Magellan's venom back in Impel Down, pinning the poison on the sword-wielding merman Hyouzou.

Behind the Mermaid Cafe, Camie asks her boss, the retired seer Madame Shyarly, to keep clear of Sanji and to hide where he is resting. Luffy and Usopp brush her crystal ball against her warning, and Camie lists the forecasts that made Shyarly renowned: she called the dawn of the great pirate era a year early, and she foresaw both the clash at Marineford and the fall of Whitebeard. That grim accuracy left the mermaid despising her own gift. The crew soon finds Brook reuniting with Pappag, and a taxi ride toward Gyoverly Hills brings out the tale of Vander Decken's mounting marriage threats against Princess Shirahoshi, the legend of the original cursed captain, and his grandson Vander Decken IX. Pappag adds that Big Mom now shields the island for a monthly candy tribute, having stepped in once Whitebeard was gone. Back in Coral Hill, Shyarly breaks down in alarm, having seen Luffy destined to shatter Fish-Man Island, and pleads that the straw-hatted pirate be driven off.

Anime-only material includes the moment Ishilly's trio finds the barrel holding Caribou and moves to pry it open, plus a depiction of how Brook first reached the island and met Pappag. The donor search is drawn out further, with Usopp shouting down from Ryugu to ask passersby for blood. In the manga, encountering Splash and Splatter left Sanji foaming as he screamed, whereas the anime cuts the foam and has him leap about in fright instead. The dub likewise leaves out Luffy reading the next installment's title during the preview.
