Like every duck in the unit, Stomp gives his loyalty to Karoo without question, following the lead of the troops' captain.

Counted among the fastest sprinters in the entire kingdom, Stomp owes his speed to his Super Spot-Billed nature and his standing within the squad. He is thoroughly drilled in bearing riders and comfortably suited to the harsh desert climate of Arabasta. After Karoo brought the troops to meet the Straw Hats, the pirates mounted the ducks and raced toward Alubarna under cover to throw off the Baroque Works agents. Stomp carried Chopper, breaking away with Cowboy toward the South Gate, where Mr. 4 and Miss Merry Christmas gave chase. Once the battles ended and rain began to fall, the ducks reunited and later returned the recovered pirates to the Going Merry, with Stomp bearing Usopp before the troops set off home. He also joined his fellow ducks for a visit to Ukkari Hot-Spring Island.
