Tabuhachiro

Tabuhachiro is a bulky, heavyset elder with narrow eyes, sizable earlobes, and thick wavy black eyebrows. A blue-and-white floral tattoo marks his right shoulder, and he dresses in an orange kimono topped by a white shawl. Like his fellow rebels sworn to the Kouzuki, he bears a crescent-moon tattoo on his ankle.

Devotion to the Kouzuki Family defines him. He kept faith in their return through twenty long years and offered his strength freely against Kurozumi Orochi. A near-constant smile sits on his face, even when he stares down enemies, masking a firm and resolute will beneath the cheerful exterior.

In years past Tabuhachiro pledged himself to the Kouzuki Family, and after Kouzuki Toki foretold Orochi's fall and the eventual opening of Wano's borders, he and his comrades held out two decades awaiting the Nine Red Scabbards. When Momonosuke finally reappeared, they renewed their loyalty and rallied to stand against Orochi. He was among those rounded up and imprisoned in Rasetsu Town for plotting against the shogun, where the captives received Shimotsuki Yasuie's last message naming the rebels' new meeting point. On the night of the Fire Festival, Denjiro freed Tabuhachiro and the others, swelling the raiding force by a thousand fighters, and the group sailed to Tokage Port to collect the Scabbards. After landing on Onigashima and scuttling their ships, the rebels disguised themselves as Beasts Pirates Waiters using Kin'emon's devil fruit power, joining his Eastern forces with orders to dodge needless fights so the illusions would hold. They slipped past a brothel, hid in the water from Big Mom, and infiltrated the party on the Live Floor, blending in with the genuine Beasts Pirates. Once Luffy declared all-out war, Tabuhachiro shed his disguise, took up a long-shafted hammer, and braced to fight.
