Lovely women fluster him, and he gushed to his father about how smitten he was with Shirahoshi. When her social inexperience led her to declare bluntly that he was not her type, the slight cut him deeply. He also shows a streak of cowardice: as Charlos and his slave moved in to seize Shirahoshi, Tritobu panicked and ran, brushing off any obligation to protect a girl who had spurned him.
History
At the Socializing Plaza during the Levely, Furrari sought to match his son with Shirahoshi once King Jeep had first put forward his own son Wheel. Shirahoshi declined each of her suitors, which left Jeep grumbling that she had cost them face and sent Fukaboshi rushing to calm the slighted royals before a quarrel could erupt. Soon afterward, when Charlos tried to grab Shirahoshi, Tritobu fled in alarm. Being the prince of a kingdom tied to the World Government, he nonetheless carries considerable political weight.
