Troff

A bald, oval-faced man, Troff stands tall at a fairly average weight. He sports brown trousers fastened with a studded black belt and wears only the upper bib of a green overall, its buckles colored yellow. Plates of metal shield each shoulder, and both of his forearms carry a tattoo of two horizontal purple stripes. His weapon of choice is a sword.

The fierce camaraderie shared across the whole crew runs in Troff as well. He firmly holds that Puzzle is bound to rise as the next Pirate King, and Vigaro's death stunned him. Pride defines him too, earned through the hard fight he and his fellows waged to take back their Jolly Roger from the Accino Family. He is presumably a capable combatant, his crew having reached the New World, yet they ran into far stronger foes there. On his own he falls short of the Accino Family, but banded with his crewmates he drove off a pack of Domo penguins and kept their vessel from being dragged away.

Long before, the crew roamed the New World until a rival ship overpowered them, taking Vigaro's life and wounding Puzzle, so they fell back into Paradise, the Grand Line's nearer half. Reaching Hyokaido, they lost their Jolly Roger to the Accino Family. To keep bounty hunters from summoning the Marines, the crew concealed that Puzzle still breathed, yet the family coerced them into baiting rival crews. The Straw Hats eventually crossed paths with them as they posed as fishermen who had been plundered. After Chopper tended their injuries and Luffy welcomed them aboard the Thousand Sunny, the Phoenix Pirates spiked a wine barrel to knock their hosts out, only for Sanji, Franky, and Robin to have faked sleep and corner them. Stansen called for surrender, and Luffy hauled the crew toward Hyokaido regardless. With the ships parted, the pirates confessed their true tale, though Puzzle refused to gamble his men's lives on a return to the New World. Taunts from Brindo and the arrival of Campacino spurred Puzzle from his sickbed to lead the charge. Troff battled through the Domo penguins, joined the crew in gripping a rope to halt the theft of their ship, and once the Accino Family had fallen and every flag was reclaimed, he set off again toward the New World beside the Straw Hats, throwing himself gladly into the fight when Campacino came seeking vengeance for his father.
