Known as Vista of the Flower Swords, this towering, mustached swordsman led the fifth division of the Whitebeard Pirates. Counted among his crew's strongest, he dueled the world's greatest blade Dracule Mihawk to a standstill during the Marineford war.
Vista is a towering, broad-chested, tanned man, standing roughly as tall as Jinbe, with a curled black mustache and an earring in either ear. Atop his head sits a dark blue top hat. His half-open dark blue shirt, marked across the upper portion with a diamond pattern in white, leaves much of his hairy chest exposed and is worn beneath a cape, paired with white gloves. Light blue trousers and a belt carry two sheaths, one at each hip, and he keeps a saber in each hand.
In Ace's flashbacks he appears slimmer and less muscular, with shorter hair, an open jacket, his signature hat, and no gloves. The mustache and top hat were already his trademarks twenty-two years prior. As a small boy he tied his hair in a ponytail with bangs across his forehead, wore a black shirt whose collar was white and whose chest carried cross motifs on either side, plus black trousers and shoes, and practiced his cuts with a wooden training blade.
As with every Whitebeard division commander, Vista is fiercely devoted to his captain, and he carries himself with a certain modesty. He welcomed the chance to test his blades against Dracule Mihawk and was glad to have crossed swords with him. By contrast, he holds Blackbeard in deep contempt; when Teach jeered at Whitebeard for failing to protect a crewmate, Vista had to be physically restrained from lunging at him. Ace's death struck him hard, and he muttered bitterly to his brother Marco that they had let their guard slip.

Naruto vs Luffy with the twist nobody asked for: Luffy tickled Hinata on date night, and she kind of liked it. We break down the whole fight and commit to a winner....

When I first decided to commit to watching One Piece seriously, I knew I was embarking on one of anime's longest and most beloved series. With over 100...
Commanding the fifth division grants Vista authority over its lower ranks, and his division, built around swordplay, ranked among the crew's most combat-focused units. He is reputed to be the finest swordsman of the Whitebeard Pirates and a seasoned veteran who sailed with the crew back in the era of Gol D. Roger. Marco trusted him specifically with guarding Luffy, and even Mihawk recognizes his standing. Through the whole Marineford war, despite trading blows with Warlords, admirals, and countless Marines, he came away without serious wounds.
His physical power is immense, enough to clash evenly with Mihawk, deflect an axe swung by a giant, and split cannonballs from the air. A master of dual-wielding, he even turned aside one of Mihawk's flying slashes capable of cleaving warships. He commands both Armament and Observation Haki, and his paired purple-hilted sabers are durable enough to survive a strike from Yoru. In the anime his attacks scatter red rose petals, fitting his Flower Sword epithet, though whether this hints at a Devil Fruit remains unconfirmed.
