Zau Ra Zau

Zau Ra Zau is a hulking machine colored in yellow and red, with a wide chest and a flattened head. A single large eye dominates its face, balanced by a red square where a second eye would sit, above a mouth of oversized teeth. One arm ends in a sword and the other in a spear, its shoulders pivot on silver joints, and its lower section is black and shaped to suggest a pair of trousers.

As a machine, Zau Ra Zau has no will of its own. It simply carries out whatever commands its maker Niphtal issues.

The robot's armor is formidable, shrugging off gunfire and the blows of Hey without taking harm. It strikes with its bladed arms and can also spew flame from a launcher built into its chest. When Hey and his followers overcame Niphtal's men, the pirate called out Zau Ra Zau and its partner Kau Ra Kau, who routed the gang while taking no damage. As Niphtal turned the pair on the townspeople, Zoro intercepted their attack with his swords, and the Straw Hats then battled the two robots and tore them apart.
