I Will Surpass You! Rain Falls on Arabasta!

Pell's sacrifice spares the city, yet the shockwave still flattens buildings and knocks people down, and the residents simply rise to resume slaughtering one another. Devastated, Vivi screams from the bell tower for everyone to stop, though only the crew can hear her. Nami, feeling her friend's anguish, orders the others to end the fighting by any means. Beneath the capital the crumbling tomb has left Cobra, Robin, and seemingly Luffy unconscious as Crocodile savors his apparent triumph.

Luffy stuns him by standing back up, declaring himself unbeatable. He kicks the poison hook hard enough to snap it off, then batters the Warlord through the ruins. Crocodile cannot fathom why the scorpion venom has no effect. He blows away rubble with Sables Pasado, but Luffy inflates, spins, and rockets upward into Gomu Gomu no Storm, his blood soaked fists shredding the Desert La Spada blades. The relentless barrage punches Crocodile through bedrock and hundreds of feet into the sky above Alubarna.

The crew and Vivi watch the Warlord's limp body tumble down, and the pirates initially cheer the win even as the war rages on. As Vivi keeps begging the crowds to stop, rain suddenly pours over the city. Feeling the first rainfall in three years, the citizens finally halt, the dust clears, and they hear their princess. Realizing she is alive, they drop their weapons. Crocodile slams into the street while Luffy crashes back down beside Cobra, who thanks him as Vivi tells her people the nightmare is over at last.

The music underscoring the final clash is drawn from the Allegro con fuoco of Dvorak's New World Symphony. An animation error briefly renders Crocodile's hook gold even though he had already switched to the silver poisoned one. The episode debuts Crocodile's Sables Pesado and Desert la Spada along with Luffy's Gomu Gomu no Storm, and belongs to the Arabasta Arc under the English title Sandbagged.
