At Marine Headquarters, officers fret that a certain figure has vanished on his bicycle out to open sea, alarming the Five Elders. That same shadowy man rides across the waves clutching Luffy's wanted poster, musing about the trouble the Monkey bloodline keeps causing. Out on the Going Merry, a swelling storm tosses the crew about, and they spot Foxy, Porche, and Hamburg adrift in a lifeboat. Luffy's stretching arm fails to land them cleanly, smashing their boat against the hull, but the trio is hauled aboard.
