The intruders aboard the ship turn out to be the notorious Franky Family, who fall easily to Zoro. After the crew exchanges their gold for a fortune, the bounty hunters circle back and make off with two suitcases of cash.
The raiders announce themselves as the feared Franky Family, a band of bounty hunters, but Zoro dispatches them with little effort using his Nitoryu Sai Kuru. Kaku reaches the Going Merry and accidentally rouses Zoro. At Shipbuilding Island, Iceburg and his secretary Kalifa peg the crew as pirates with three wanted members; Kalifa beats Usopp for Luffy's disrespect toward Iceburg, then kicks Iceburg himself for warning them about her temper. After Luffy presents Kokoro's letter, Iceburg tears it up and notes Kaku has already priced the repairs. Usopp then realizes the Franky Family has stolen his money and fled laughing.
