Fated Mother and Daughter! The Mother's Name is Olvia!

The flashback to Robin's childhood continues, with the young girl pouring out her ambitions to the gentle giant Jaguar D. Saul. She speaks of longing to find her mother, of becoming an archaeologist, and of one day unraveling the forbidden Void Century. When she mentions that her parent left to read the Poneglyphs, Saul is stunned to realize he is talking to the child of Nico Olvia.

Elsewhere on Ohara, a lone woman moves through the streets as townsfolk whisper about a Marine vessel docked nearby. That woman reaches the Tree of Knowledge and reveals herself as Olvia, freshly returned aboard the very Marine ship. She tells the assembled scholars a grim truth: the expedition that sailed off to chase the Poneglyphs has been wiped out, and she alone survived. The Government, she warns, now intends to erase every researcher on the island.

The scholars refuse her plea to flee, unwilling to abandon the irreplaceable history they have preserved. Olvia, meanwhile, makes a painful choice to stay distant from Robin so her daughter will never be tied to a wanted criminal.

Saul learns that the child beside him is Olvia's daughter. Olvia arrives back on Ohara and warns the scholars of the coming purge, only to be rebuffed. She takes up a gun and confronts Spandine, grazing his sleeve before being struck down and captured. Government forces storm the Tree of Knowledge, separating the archaeologists from the non-scholars and rounding up the researchers, Robin among them. Clover diverts Spandine long enough for Robin to slip away, while Saul roams the island hunting for her.

The installment belongs to the Enies Lobby Arc and unfolds entirely as part of Robin's tragic backstory. It centers on the relationship between Olvia and her daughter, establishing the emotional weight that drives the present-day rescue. Spandine's stated reason for the assault is to deter the scholarly world from probing the lost century.
