Outcome of a Deadly Battle! The Inner Spear!

With the giant Daisenso weapon already crippled, Luffy keeps the pressure on Krieg. The armored warlord scrambles up a mast, only for Luffy to fracture his plating with a Gomu Gomu no Bazooka and then blow it apart with a second one, undeterred by Krieg's explosives. Caught in a net designed to drag them both underwater and drown him, Luffy works his arms free, clamps Krieg's head between his feet, and drives him into the floating restaurant using Gomu Gomu no Ozuchi, leaving him senseless. Luffy drops into the water, and Sanji hauls him back to safety.

Krieg comes to in a frenzy and turns on his own men. Gin intervenes, flooring his captain a second time to stop the violence, then carries him off and declares a full withdrawal for the Krieg Pirates, swearing to rebuild and one day cross paths with the Straw Hats out on the Grand Line. Sanji surrenders the Baratie's supply ship so the defeated crew has a way to leave. Aboard the Going Merry, Nami weeps over having taken the ship, voicing her longing for freedom and her thoughts of Bell-mere.

The installment introduces Luffy's Gomu Gomu no Ozuchi and gives the Great King of Angolmois his first appearance. The Great King of Angolmois appears in cameo, as does Pandaman, both shown among the defeated Krieg Pirates. Several crewmates, Zoro, Mihawk, Johnny, Yosaku, and Usopp among them, feature only within flashbacks. The episode carries a Luffy and Sanji eyecatcher.
