He Hates The Straw Hat Crew - Iron Masked Duval Makes His Appearance

Once her panic at being surrounded by humans fades, Camie thanks the crew for pulling her away from the Sea King and offers takoyaki in return, though the price she names earns a slap from Pappag. Sanji stays hopelessly dazzled by what he believes is his first mermaid, until Usopp punctures the moment by recalling Granny Kokoro. Pappag presents himself as a rising designer and explains his own talking-starfish origins, while the crew try to pry directions to Fish-Man Island from Camie, who insists they reunite with her friend Hatchan before anything else.

Reaching for a Den Den Mushi, Camie tries to ring up Hatchan, but the rival Macro picks up instead, bragging that his gang joined forces with the Flying Fish Riders to overwhelm the octopus Fish-Man and intends to sell the rare fighter for a fortune. He goads her into coming to their Sabaody hideout. The Straw Hats agree to help in exchange for passage to Fish-Man Island, and Camie summons a passing school of fish to guide the Thousand Sunny onward. The Flying Fish Riders ambush them in flight, only for Zoro and Luffy to swat away the bombs with the 72 Pound Cannon and a Gum-Gum Pistol, sending the Riders into retreat.

Macro, Duval, Tansui, and Gyaro all debut here. Nami starts to suspect this Hatchan is the same Fish-Man once allied with the Arlong Pirates. Back at base, the masked Duval learns the rescuers are the Straw Hats and rages that he can finally settle his grudge against the person who wrecked his life.
