Hauled before Amazon Lily's execution arena, Luffy watches Hancock petrify Marguerite for sheltering him. His fury floors the executioner panther and draws the empress's snake-form sisters down into the ring to finish him.
Peering again at the symbol across Hancock's back, Luffy is certain the design is one he has met before. The empress then unleashes her Mero Mero ability on him, but Luffy, taking the glow for the Noro Noro Beam that Foxy once used, brushes it aside and refuses to harden into stone. He bolts, only for the Kuja to corner him and drag him to the arena where executions are carried out. There Marguerite confesses that she was the one who let the stranger reach the island, and the empress answers by petrifying the young warrior alongside two of her friends. Disgusted by how little the tribe seems to care, Luffy floors Bacura, the beast meant to carry out his death sentence, which sends Sandersonia and Marigold vaulting into the ring to take on serpentine forms and fight him directly.
Sandersonia and Marigold hurry to the bath, cover their exposed sister, and decide Luffy must be killed so the secret stays buried. Hancock's Love Love Mellow does nothing to him, since he equates it with Foxy's Slow Slow Beams, leaving the Gorgon Sisters baffled at his survival; a Pistol Kiss bullet, however, lands true, and she orders the warriors to seize him for judgment. He bounds over the town wall with a Gum-Gum Rocket, pausing to grab meat, before the Kuja finally capture him. Tied in snakes at the execution grounds, Luffy tells Hancock that Kuma flung him here and that he merely needs a vessel to leave; the tribe scoffs, yet Marguerite insists he is telling the truth and admits she granted him entry to the city. Hancock appears poised to spare her, walking to the center as if to relent, then instead fires her petrifying beam and turns Aphelandra, Sweet Pea, and Marguerite to stone, horrifying Luffy. Insisting the blame is his alone, he demands the three be changed back. Hancock looses the panther and bids him die proudly, but Luffy launches the creature into the crowd with a punch and rounds on the sisters, declaring that petrifying their own friends is no joke. Claiming her beauty earns her forgiveness, Hancock soaks up her tribe's applause yet recoils at his defiance and commands Sandersonia and Marigold to execute him personally, the two then swelling into enormous snakes.

Naruto vs Luffy with the twist nobody asked for: Luffy tickled Hinata on date night, and she kind of liked it. We break down the whole fight and commit to a winner....
