The Crewmates' Whereabouts - Bridging the Islands and Vicious Vegetations!

On Momonga's ship Hancock brings Luffy food and frets when he mentions Nami and Robin, picturing him abandoning her for them. Far away, a woman named Soran discovers Robin lying in the snow and shelters her, slipping past officers who are whipping the local people along the way. Her housemates want the stranger gone, but most relent and let Robin rest in Soran's loft. Soran shares a meal and remarks that Robin carries the scent of the outside world, a place Soran has never once set foot in before an alarm calls her back to labor.

Returning filthy, Soran explains that her country, Tequila Wolf, is one vast bridge meant to join countless islands, a project that has dragged on for ages. She shows Robin drawings of imagined places that let her dream of travel, and Robin recounts her own voyage to the sky island Skypiea. Though the officers work people until they drop, Soran clings to the hope that the bridge will let others roam the world someday. The housemate who opposed Robin betrays her to the officers in exchange for her own freedom.

The group hides Robin on the roof while a captain interrogates them, tearing up Soran's pictures and ordering them tortured without mercy. Robin strikes back with a clutch hold but ultimately surrenders. Cuffed, she is told that Tequila Wolf is staffed by criminals and by citizens of nations that refuse the World Government, all forced to build the bridge for over seven hundred years, and that she is now a slave too. Elsewhere, Usopp lands in the Boin Archipelago, where the warrior Heracles rescues him from a giant beetle and swarming carnivorous plants on the so-called Swindling Forest of Greenstone.
