The King of Fish-Man Island - The God of the Sea, Neptune!

Gyro flees from Hody Jones, who sets out in pursuit. Within one of the island's towns, Nami rejoins Luffy and the rest of the crew, and King Neptune arrives aboard his whale alongside Megalo, inviting the group to Ryugu Palace for a banquet. The Straw Hats accept and head off toward the palace. Far out at sea, Gyro thinks back on the assault he once suffered at the hands of the New Fish-Man Pirates, along with the oath he swore never to set foot on the island again, an oath now broken.

Aboard the Noah, Hody Jones waves off his subordinate Ikaros Much's offer to handle Gyro and declares he will do it personally. To prove his might, Hody swallows Energy Steroids and shatters Gyro's ship using only his mouth, his hands bound in chains the whole time, defeating the crew yet leaving them conscious so they can spread word of what is brewing beneath the sea. Zeo explains that fish-men are born ten times stronger than humans and that each Energy Steroid doubles that strength again. After Hody claims that humans broke the spirits of both Fisher Tiger and Arlong, he sends his crew ascending toward the island and swears to slay Neptune and elevate the fish-men into a master race.

One extra scene depicts Splash and Splatter in nurse outfits, pursuing Sanji in an effort to hand over still more blood. The anime lengthens Neptune's invitation to the palace, and a further inserted moment has Pappag explain Ryugu Palace to the crew after the king's invitation. When Hody bursts through Gyro's ship, the manga shows him biting a human on arrival, but the anime merely has the pirate thrown aside. The manga also did not show Gyro using his sword against Hody. From this point on, the pre-episode introduction was shortened.
