Hody's Attack - The Beginning of the Vengeful Plan

Still en route to the Sea Forest with Shirahoshi, Luffy catches sight of figures bearing down on the palace and recognizes them as Hody and Vander Decken IX. Across the island, Robin waits for the Sea Bus when a swarm of Ammo Knights orders her to come with them. She quietly disposes of her attackers and boards the bus without trouble, leaving for her own objective.

With help from Den, the brother of his late master's mentor figure Tom, Franky locates the Thousand Sunny. Spotting Jinbe nearby, he asks Den why he has come, and Den answers only that he is waiting for someone. At the palace, a human pirate throws open the gate, letting Hody and Decken inside. Finding Shirahoshi gone from her tower, Decken peels off and sets out in pursuit of the princess.

The anime stages Robin's arrival at the bus stop and her short scuffle with the Ammo Knights, revealing her clone ability earlier than the manga and showing her swap positions with a double. Her Gigantesco Mano Stomp finishes the soldiers off screen. The crew, including Zoro, Usopp, Nami, and Brook, is also shown battling the pirates Decken hurled into the palace, with Usopp using a non Pop Green attack. Franky and Den reach the Sea Forest, and a new eyecatcher debuts featuring the series logo and a Luffy silhouette, after which the intermission shifts to a single crew eyecatcher before the break followed by this logo cut.
