Law steps into the SAD production room and grins up at the towering tank. Above the despairing Marines, Sanji appears carrying two unconscious soldiers, brushing off their concern for his leg and joking that he only accepts pity from women. Tashigi reluctantly backs the cover story that the Vergo who attacked them was an impostor, letting the operation continue. Vergo, racing through block B by Geppo, reports Law's betrayal to Doflamingo over a baby Den Den Mushi.

In Dressrosa, Doflamingo laughs off the treachery while dodging a furious Baby 5, who keeps trying to kill him until he restrains her. He reasons that Law's first target would be the SAD room and warns that slaying Caesar, the only person able to produce SAD, would be a disaster. He alerts Caesar and Monet that Luffy wields Conqueror's Haki and may surpass Law, then dispatches Baby 5 and Buffalo as reinforcements. Back in block B, the Straw Hats and Kin'emon corner the small dragon: Nami's Thunder Trap shocks it, Usopp's Green Star Rafflesia stuns it, and Robin clips its wings before Brook and Kin'emon finish it together. A frightened girl then reveals that a boy named Momonosuke slipped into the forbidden room and became a dragon.

The episode holds a rating near 7.0 and marks the debut of Dressrosa along with Sugar, Machvise, Baby 5, Gladius, Giolla, Lao G, and Ginko. The Buki Buki no Mi also first appears. Unlike the manga, the anime reveals Monet's fruit name during her clash with Luffy rather than later against the other crew members, adds Baby 5's stated reason for attacking Doflamingo, and shows Caesar and Monet reacting with surprise to Luffy's Conqueror's Haki. The title teases Doflamingo's String Human powers.
