The Emperor's Castle - Arriving at Whole Cake Island

The hour brings two threads to a head. In flashback, Jinbe gathers the Sun Pirates to announce that he means to throw in with Luffy, the man he judges most likely to claim the title of Pirate King. His comrades, who have heard him praise that captain for two years running, give their blessing and tell him to finally chase something for himself. Aladine's wife Charlotte Praline overhears worried talk of her own loyalty and vows to leave her mother behind for him. Praline also warns that escaping Big Mom's crew alive has never been done. Back in the present, Big Mom welcomes Jinbe to her castle, appears willing to release him, then announces a price: she produces a roulette wheel to decide what he must surrender.

Out at sea, the team chasing Sanji finds the Thousand Sunny trapped in hardened mizuame and burns it free by torchlight. While they work, Pedro opens up about earlier days spent searching for Poneglyphs alongside Pekoms, a venture that ended in his defeat on this very island. He returns now because Inuarashi and Nekomamushi hold the Straw Hats in such high regard, and he volunteers to slip in alone after Big Mom's Road Poneglyph while the others free their cook. By dawn the ship sails again and Whole Cake Island looms ahead. As they near the coast, the crew is stunned to spot Sanji himself waiting on the beach.

The episode opens on grieving children mourning Moscato, whose remaining lifespan Mont-d'Or orders harvested by the dark soul collectors. The adaptation expands several beats beyond the manga, staging Jinbe and Big Mom's arrival at the Whole Cake Chateau, the brawl against the giant ants, and the on-screen reveal that the figure ashore is Sanji. The episode also carries a continuity footnote about Praline, first listed as the Charlotte family's 29th daughter before later SBS details reshuffled her to the 21st.
