A Seafaring Nation - Germa's King Judge

Behind the Whole Cake Chateau lies Lake Aprico, where Big Mom's allies dock. Several Germa 66 vessels link together there to form the Germa Kingdom, the only nation that exists entirely on ships, populated chiefly by drilling soldiers. Sanji watches them glumly from a balcony, then bristles when his sister Reiju lingers in the room. She points to a portrait of their father looming over four fallen kings, a relic of the Conquest of Four Nations in the North Blue, and urges Sanji to enjoy the privileges of their bloodline. His anger only grows. Judge enters to greet the son he has not seen in years, but Sanji refuses to call him father.

Judge presses about Yonji's smashed face, surprised his strong son lost, and challenges Sanji to settle matters outside like men. The crowd gathers as the duel begins, Judge thrusting with his spear while Sanji slips every strike, impressing Reiju and the citizens. As they fight, Sanji relives making a cake as a boy only to have his brothers steal it and beat him bloody, with Judge looking on indifferently and Reiju laughing. In the present, Sanji blocks the spear with an Armament Haki leg, shocking Judge that his weakling knows Haki. Judge tosses him a sword expecting his swordsmanship to answer, but Sanji refuses, declaring his hands exist only for cooking.

Vinsmoke Judge debuts in this episode. Elsewhere Luffy wanders the Seducing Woods alone while its flora schemes to ambush him, and Yonji's crushed face is repaired with a press machine after a hammer fails. The anime adds extra soldier training, a flashback of Judge cutting down the four North Blue kings, Luffy's aimless running as the homies plot, Judge striking first in the duel, and Reiju noting the attack still hurt Sanji. The bullying flashback is extended to show Sanji baking the cake, and unlike the manga Judge throws a sword during the fight.
