Summary

With Bege's Big Father form still pinned, the enemy crew piles onto it, and Smoothie wrings out the venom Reiju had earlier slipped into her. Cornered by Katakuri about her place in the plot, a panicked Brulee swears she was nothing but a captive. Inside his own body, Bege appears and admits that never before has an ambush of his collapsed like this, warning that little time remains. Right then the screaming ceases, Big Mom's wits return, and once Katakuri names the traitor she erupts and turns on the fortress.

Key Events

Bege spells out the peril, that since the structure is his living body, wrecking it would kill him and spill everyone inside it directly into the waiting enemy crew. A blow from Big Mom proves the point by splintering stone tough enough to shrug off cannon fire, leaving him in agony within. She climbs atop the fortress, stares through a window, and orders both Luffy and the captain outside. Chiffon races over to beg for her husband, but the sight of her enrages Big Mom, who is reminded of Lola and presumes the two schemed together. Luffy hauls Chiffon clear and itches to strike back, only for his crew to remind him they came to flee, not fight. The captain then lays out his gambit, that his outer form will shrink to human size with the group sealed inside, after which Caesar will carry him out and set down along the island's shoreline. Caesar balks, sure the enemy will cut him down despite his Logia body. Meanwhile, Judge presses Sanji on his reasons for the rescue. Sanji answers that Zeff would be ashamed of him for abandoning his blood to vengeance, even though they once locked him away to deny he existed, then takes Judge by the throat and renounces him as a father. Judge yields, vowing never to pursue him or threaten the East Blue. With the walls failing and Caesar still refusing, the Vinsmokes volunteer as escorts, Caesar is forced along under threat to his heart, and as Bege reverts they all surge out toward Big Mom.
