A Captivating Flavor - Sanji's Cake of Happiness

Prometheus and Napoleon shrink back to normal as Big Mom steps toward the towering dessert. Bege hauls Chiffon away despite her protests, and she places her faith in Sanji's cooking. The empress takes a bite, stiffens, and topples backward. Her crew panics, certain she has been poisoned, until she springs up in rapture, declaring the cake the finest she has ever eaten. Across Totto Land the citizens celebrate their survival. Out at sea, however, the conflict only worsens: the Sun Pirates carve an escape route for the Straw Hats, Oven scalds the ocean to drive them off, and the colossal Queen Mama Chanter unloads its cannons, leaving burning debris where the Sunny had been.

Big Mom's craving ends the moment she savors the cake, sparing the archipelago from her hunger. Chiffon recalls Sanji insisting on finishing his cream in two hours so the empress would smile, and on Cacao Island a tearful Pudding rejects the crowd's praise, crediting Sanji instead. Aladine deflects Daifuku's genie with Fish-Man Karate, letting the Sunny slip through the gap the Sun Pirates open. The Charlotte Decuplets fuse into a single giant warrior to face the Vinsmoke siblings, Brûlée supplies bullets that pierce Raid Suits, and Oven sticks his hands into the sea to boil it. Big Mom sings of her old dream while the Chanter's barrage engulfs the Straw Hats' position.

The anime layers in extra material, such as Bavarois summoning a rescue team before Perospero stops him, Chiffon thanking Bege after the rampage ends, and Aladine knocking aside Daifuku's genie. The Decuplets merging and their subsequent brawl with Reiju, Ichiji, Niji, and Yonji are shown directly, as is Brûlée delivering the anti-Germa rounds and Judge crossing blades with Snack. The episode marks the debut of the Gocha Gocha no Mi and the Decuplets' anime-only fusion technique. It is part of the Whole Cake Island Arc.
