Luxurious and Gorgeous - Wano's Most Beautiful Woman, Komurasaki

Decked in full oiran finery, Komurasaki drifts through the Flower Capital and freezes every onlooker with her beauty. The view shifts to Udon, where Caribou hauls himself toward a rock-breaking Luffy to plead for something to eat. The two share a past: they had met once at the Sabaody Archipelago, and Caribou went on to terrorize Fish-Man Island until Luffy put him down, only to resume his crimes throughout the New World before X Drake seized him and dumped him into Udon's labor camp. Elsewhere, the men Sanji had beaten report their defeat to Kyoshiro, who brushes it aside and resolves to telephone Queen so that killers can be loosed on the cook. Within the castle, Orochi at last shows his true shape, a serpent crowned with many heads.

Partway along the parade route, a cluster of men swears to cut Komurasaki down, but her guards slaughter them in an instant. Attention then settles on a single assailant, an elderly man named Bingo. He had given his heart to Komurasaki, who promised they could share a life if only he purchased her release from the pleasure house. To raise the sum, Bingo turned into a tightfisted lender, parted with his storehouse, deserted his wife, and even quit buying his own medicine. Sick and homeless, he finally scraped the fortune together, then learned she had blown it all on herself and never intended to marry him. Stripped bare, shamed, and shattered, he was then mobbed and savagely thrashed by a pack of cruel strangers.

Once the story returns to the current day, Bingo and his fellow plotters are driven from the capital because they are destitute, and Komurasaki freely confesses that draining naive men of their fortunes is exactly her trade. The adaptation slips in Usopp and Franky trying to head off the three schemers, a flashback of Bingo parading his old wealth and crushing the poor, and footage drawn from the New World cover story named for Caribou's Kehihihihi. The trio's defeat unfolds differently from print: a guard charges them rather than felling them mid-rush, hitting Bungo first, then Bongo and Bingo, and striking Bongo several times over. The anime also fixes Bingo and Komurasaki's first meeting at about a year earlier, a detail the manga left open, and tempers his admission from selling his family to merely abandoning them. Stepping in for the first time are Takao, Sandayu, Bingo, Bongo, Bungo, Orochi, and Baburu, while the Yamata no Orochi model of the Hebi Hebi no Mi makes its first appearance.
