The Storm Has Come! A Raging Big Mom!

With the capital scuffle done, Kin'emon owns up to Ashura that the theft pinned on his name had been a deliberate plot, arranged to turn him against the Beasts Pirates. Ashura still burns over the ruin of Mt. Atama, yet Kin'emon apologizes plainly, both for the trick and for deserting the nation twenty years back. Moved, the bandit pardons him and bids Kin'emon walk at his side.

Down in the Udon mine, Big Mom batters aside every barrier between herself and the inmates, then bursts in and freezes the captives in place. Red bean soup is what she wants, but Queen treasures that very dish and gives up none, shifting into a brachiosaurus by way of his Devil Fruit. The two trade blows on the spot. Deeming the route too perilous, Tama and Momonosuke hang back at the gate while a disguised Kiku slips in with Chopper, and upon arriving the pair spot Big Mom mashing Queen's head into the floor.

Kin'emon admits to the staged frame-up and apologizes deeply, winning Ashura's pardon and his promise of aid. Big Mom shatters her way into the Prisoner Mines and squares off against Queen over oshiruko. Queen's shift into his dinosaur form marks the debut of his Brachiosaurus-model Ryu Ryu Devil Fruit. Wearing a disguise, Kiku enters the prison with Chopper as Tama and Momonosuke wait behind.

The adaptation stages several beats afresh, among them Kin'emon admitting he goaded Holed'em, Big Mom caving in the front entrance, and Chopper telling Kiku to hide her identity too. Daifugo is caught panicking during the Queen and Big Mom standoff, and the brachiosaurus change is drawn in fine detail, making clear that Queen's prosthetic arm transforms along with him. Their barbed back-and-forth is also drawn out. This entry runs within the Wano Country arc.
