Summary

The brawl between Big Mom and Queen rages on, and when Queen tries to stomp her, she hoists him up and slams him down before hurling him into a rock wall, wrecking much of the prison. The impact topples the beam holding Kid and Killer underwater, dropping the two to the ground and sparing them from drowning, and it also cracks open Kawamatsu's cell. As guards scramble to reach Kaidou in the executive tower, Caribou blocks them, explaining that Wano's Smart Tanishi snails carry signals too weak to transmit without a Boss Tanishi, while Raizo slips off to fetch the keys for the prisoners.

Big Mom hunts for her oshiruko and digs a pot from the rubble, only to find it empty, which sends her into a fury since she meant to carry it back to Okobore Town as thanks for feeding her. She rounds on Luffy, who ate the contents earlier, and knocks him and Hyogoro toward the ring's edge. Cornered, Luffy finally summons Ryuo and tears off both their explosive collars, which detonate harmlessly in the air, and as Big Mom turns on Hyogoro, Luffy steels himself to use the technique against her.

Notes

The adaptation adds Queen attempting a dive-bomb that Big Mom catches barehanded, Kid snapping that he wants none of Luffy's pity, Caribou cutting off the tower's communications, Babanuki being told the pot is empty, and Chopper fretting that Big Mom may suffer another craving illness. Queen's reaction to hearing Luffy ate the soup is omitted, and unlike the manga Queen is knocked unconscious by Big Mom's throw. The episode belongs to the Wano Country Arc.
