Kaidou's Trump Card - The Tobi Roppo Appear

The samurai fret over how to break the front gate before noticing the Straw Hats have already seized it, despite its heavy defenses. Within Kaidou's hall the Beasts Pirates indulge in a deafening party, Queen mounts a stage show, and the elite six watch from a quiet corner. Once the harbor garrison falls, the allied fleet pours into Onigashima, with the Straw Hats setting down their cups to join the charge.

Inside the mansion, Orochi dotes on the women, Fukurokuju keeps to the shadows, and Queen wolfs down oshiruko while Kaidou hunts in vain for his missing child. Queen then opens a funk concert with Apoo working the turntables, summoning the lower ranks, though the top commanders stay seated and ignore the call. He also reveals that the Charlotte Family will attend this year's Fire Festival. From hiding, the six are named one by one. Black Maria and Who's-Who sit among them, as do Ulti and Page One, with Sasaki and Drake rounding out the group, and talk turns to Ulti's quick temper and their summons to the island. The Straw Hats, meanwhile, ransack the stronghold for liquor and raise a toast to Jinbe, their newly minted helmsman, just as the Nine Red Scabbards arrive pleased that the first defensive line has been cracked.

The animated version adds Luffy clearing the last harbor foes with a Red Hawk and a glimpse of Yamato breaking rocks. Several beats run longer than the original, among them Luffy putting off the celebration for a bigger banquet, Orochi's flirting, Queen's performance at the Golden Kagura, an expanded Shinuchi roll call, the commanders' conversation, and a glimpse of Oden striding forward once the samurai begin their charge. A large group of Beasts Pirates make their first appearance here.
