Overview
This group of brigands answers to Gillian and exists only within the game One Piece Odyssey. Its title reflects its origin story rather than its current size, since Gillian assembled it by merging a string of smaller gangs into a single banner.
Role
After leaving the Goa Kingdom, Gillian wandered from island to island, folding one bandit crew after another into his own ranks. By uniting nine such groups he formed Bandit Nine and earned the matching nickname for himself.
On Water 7 he crossed paths with the Straw Hats and swore to avenge an earlier humiliation at Luffy's hands. Stung that Luffy did not even remember him, he attacked anyway and was swiftly beaten, then handed over to Margin, who collected his bounty. The rest of the band stayed scattered and hidden across various mountains, cut off from their leader.
Notable Members
Gillian is the only identified member of Bandit Nine, carrying a thirty-million-Berry bounty. Whether the group remains active after he joined the Bounty Pirates is left unresolved, with his remaining followers still lying low and out of contact.
