The Kid Pirates are a notorious rookie crew from the South Blue led by Eustass Kid, counted among the Worst Generation. Known for heavy-metal style and massive collateral destruction, they rose to fame on the Grand Line before their captain helped topple Big Mom on Onigashima.
Introduced around the time the Straw Hats reached the Sabaody Archipelago two years before the present, this rookie band belongs to the Worst Generation. Like the Straw Hats, the crew carried two bounties topping 100,000,000 Berries, each slightly above its counterpart in Luffy's crew before the timeskip. Eustass Kid commands them. Their flag wears Kid's hairstyle and goggles on a grinning skull, and a simpler smiley-faced symbol also appears on member gear. After Wano, they struck at the Red Hair Pirates on Elbaph, where Shanks felled Kid and the giants Dorry and Brogy split their ship, the Victoria Punk, in two.
The crew is infamous for the wreckage and civilian casualties trailing their route toward the New World. Every member withstood Silvers Rayleigh's Supreme King Haki at the auction house, a clear measure of their strength, and they escaped Kizaru's raid despite a Pacifista. Many sport heavy-metal looks and leather, and their names, apart from Kid and Killer, draw from rock music. After the timeskip their bounties and influence grew, and they claimed an island base. Kid's attempted alliance with the Hawkins and On Air crews collapsed when Apoo, secretly a Beasts Pirate, sold them out to Kaidou, leaving Kid wary of allies thereafter.
Their defining chapter came on Onigashima. Imprisoned in Wano, Kid reunited with Luffy while Killer was forced to eat a defective SMILE and became the assassin Kamazo. Once freed, the crew joined the Ninja-Pirate-Mink-Samurai Alliance for the raid. On the rooftop Kid and Law fought Big Mom together, separating her from her special homies and eventually launching her off the island, with Kid landing a massive railgun blast and unleashing his awakening. The victory earned Kid a 3,000,000,000 Berry bounty before the crew sailed on.
Eustass Kid captains the crew, with Killer as his closest companion. Kid, Killer, Heat, and Wire began as gang bosses on a South Blue island, uniting after the murder of Kid and Killer's first love, Victoria, whose name the flagship honors. Wire, Heat, and the others fill out a roster of 31 members in total. Their ship, the Victoria Punk, was coated to dive underwater before its destruction at Elbaph. Kid lost his left arm to Red Hair first mate Benn Beckman and replaced it with a metal one.
