The crew was among the Red Hair fleet celebrating on Elbaph when the Kid Pirates appeared off the island. Together with the Bourgeois Pirates and the Social Club, they sailed out to meet the newcomers and urged them to depart quietly. The Kid Pirates paid no heed, and once Shanks warned them about the threat Eustass Kid posed, the Puddle Pirates pulled back.
Gerotini captains the crew and is its sole named member. The Puddle Pirates hold the distinction of being the second frog-themed crew in the series, following the Fanged Toad Pirates.
