The Kid Pirate Killer fights chiefly with these arms, two gauntlets that each bear a curved, sickle-shaped edge. Every blade sits on an axle he can grip, letting the sickles spin at will. Off duty he tucks the cutting pieces into a holster at his hip, though the gauntlets normally stay clamped to his hands, and the whole weapon numbers among the Famous Blades.

Killer can whip the sickles around like buzzsaws or simply swing them as hand scythes. Once they hit full speed, they throw off sound-barrier shockwaves that damage a foe internally, and they also work defensively, batting away an enemy's weapon so he can drive a kick into an exposed flank. Coupled with his agility and his readiness to kill, this makes him formidable, and the gauntlets even let him scale sheer walls. He insists that had he carried the Punishers during his Ringo clash with Roronoa Zoro, fought there under the name Kamazo, he would have won.

His named moves include Zanshu Claw, a charging slash aimed at the neck to behead, which later destroyed Basil Hawkins' straw-man construct in one stroke. Kamaa Sonic spins the sickles at sonic speed to fire a soundwave slash straight through outer defenses, first drawing real blood from Kaidou. Jin Sonic is a somersaulting downward cut through a target's face and torso, deployed as a finisher on Hawkins.

Only Killer wields the Punishers, which debuted alongside him in Chapter 498. Their coloring changes across media. In the manga the gauntlets started gold before the timeskip and turned gray afterward, whereas the anime rendered them gray at first and then dark blue once the timeskip had passed. Anime viewers also saw Shanks wreck the Punishers when he downed Kid and Killer at Elbaph, an outcome the manga leaves unresolved.
