The Beasts, Heart, and Kid crews all panic, yet the two captains stand unmoved, since neither one fears her enough for Soul Pocus to grip them. Honoring his late benefactor Rosinante and the silencing Nagi Nagi no Mi, Law hurls a shrunken room that smothers every sound around the Emperor, cutting off her voice so no soul fragment can reach her. He bisects Misery in the same motion while Kid fires another blast that drives her down the shaft, with Prometheus and Hera helpless to follow.

She crashes into the weapons vault and strikes one of the bombs Yamato had frozen, the blow wounding her and withering Kazenbo down to a fraction of its size. Yamato walls off the remaining explosives with ice, but the detonation shears away the underside of Onigashima, dropping Big Mom and a load of munitions toward the Wano mainland. Falling, she rages at Roger for launching the Great Pirate Era he would never live to see, and bitterly muses that One Piece, whatever it is, might lie somewhere in Wano. A massive blast swallows her below, and Law muffles even that roar with his silent technique. Kid and Law are named the winners.

The chapter title plays on a Japanese proverb about chanting scripture into a horse's ear, with the horse swapped for kanji meaning new generation but read as a word for brats.
