Pythagoras tries to send CP0 away now that the Seraphim has been returned, but the agents refuse to leave. Lucci probes about vanished World Government ships near the island, listing missing vessels from CP5, CP7, and CP8 over recent weeks, until Lilith snatches the snail and angrily denies any involvement before Pythagoras cuts the call. Lucci responds by ordering S-Bear to warp the whole team ashore, abandoning their ship to the mechanical Sea Beasts. On Momoiro Island, Kuma uses his paw powers to teleport away from the pursuing Revolutionary Army.

In the scrapyard, Vegapunk reveals his grand dream: to use science to supply the whole world with energy for free, ending the wars fought over fuel. Jinbe explains how resource conflicts spark such wars, and Vegapunk confirms he wants to harvest the energy that exists everywhere and convert it to power. That same energy once drove the ancient robot, and pursuing it forced him to uncover Void Century truths the government will kill to bury. An explosion confirms CP0 has landed. The agents reach Fabriophase, find Vegapunk's holograms repel their guns and Kaku's strikes, and learn from Stussy of the Frontier Dome's laser defenses after Kaku is shot down. Atlas charges Lucci despite Shaka's warning and is critically wounded when Lucci's hybrid form lands a Rokuogan, shattering half her face.

Vegapunk agrees to let Luffy carry him away and asks that Bonney be brought to Labophase before teleporting off. The chapter ends with Luffy's group arriving above the battlefield, where he and Lucci lock eyes. The Germa cover side-story shows Caesar and Judge recalling their shared past mid-fight, hinting at the MADS history to come.
