Elsewhere, Sabo is shown alive with refugees from the destroyed Lulusia Kingdom, and he chooses to tell Dragon and Ivankov in private what truly happened at Mary Geoise.

News of Vice Admiral T Bone's death spreads worldwide; Tsuru notes he was slain in starvation-plagued Pepe Kingdom and that the killer's family will now be provided for, suggesting the Marines underestimated Buggy. Sengoku insists the Cross Guild be crushed before morale collapses. Buggy inducts T Bone's killer, then after a beating from his partners argues that he and Shanks now stand on equal footing, reigniting his own dream of becoming Pirate King.
