Summary

Mars punches through the Frontier Dome, his Haki shaking Jinbe to the core. Jinbe reaches Zoro, who will not lower his guard while a battered Lucci refuses to fall, yet Jinbe seizes him regardless, throws up a dust cloud with Gosenmaigawara Shuto, and bolts. Reverting to human shape, Lucci drops to his knees and lays out everything for Mars: York sits tied up inside Building A's fourth floor, five crew members and two Satellites plan to flee from the rear of the Labophase, eighty-five Cipher Pol agents and four Seraphim sit captive in the basement, and six minutes stand between them and the broadcast. He pleads for Kaku's life, but Mars answers that he cannot pluck one insect from a swarm being exterminated.

On the lower level, Luffy meets the giants again, and they tell him Elbaph's old tales of Nika made them wonder how he came to dress like the god. Warcury and Saturn recoil at the giants' arrival, while Luffy stresses the plan is flight, not combat. Refusing, Warcury lets loose a roar of Conqueror's Haki fierce enough to peel away the rubber from Luffy's whole figure, undoing his eyes, his hat, his footwear, his cuffs, and the very mark on his chest, while far-off Marines pass out. Dorry and Brogy halt Warcury's bladed tusks with Svalinn Sun-Shield, then drive him off with Skilja Split.

Saturn cautions the giants that siding with Luffy means being scrubbed from history with him, and fires venom volleys. Luffy chews a torn-up tree into a bat, marks it with the number 56, pulls on a matching helmet, and slugs the venom back, touching off blasts. The fire walls off the woods to open an exit, yet Luffy warns the trio cannot be killed, and sure enough they knit themselves back together as they pull out.

Key Events

Mars breaches the Frontier Dome, and Jinbe throws up a dust screen against Lucci before hauling Zoro toward the waiting Thousand Sunny. Lucci feeds Mars York's location and other intelligence, flags the six minutes left, and begs that Kaku be spared, while Mars sets off to find York and the broadcast room. Luffy joins Dorry and Brogy against Saturn and Warcury, the latter shown to possess Conqueror's Haki. Their mission to locate Luffy complete, Dorry signals the Giant Warrior Pirates to fall back, and Luffy declares the elders somehow deathless.

Three vice admirals, namely Guillotine, Pomsky, and Red King, station themselves by the giants' ship to lie in wait for Bonney. The Iron Giant rises to its feet, recognizing Joy Boy and offering him an apology.

Notes

Warcury's roar undoing even the scar on Luffy's chest underscores the sheer menace of the Five Elders, and the giants' paired shield moves announce their full entry into the clash. The Iron Giant Emet's apology to Joy Boy deepens its bond to the lost century. The cover continues the Yamato serial, picturing Kuma among the jellyfish.
