The island collapses into a free-for-all over the treasure as Rayleigh escapes with Shakuyaku. Kaidou wrenches a legendary fruit away from Linlin, Rocks lets Eris flee with Teach and turns to face Garling, and Imu at last descends to God Valley by seizing control of Saturn's body.
Off to the northwest Rocks trades blows with Garling while Roger drives toward the hoard, telling Rayleigh to keep fleeing with Shakky. Others move to seize her from him, but Shiki waves them off, fearing she might be hurt, and points their greed at the loot instead. Inside the main vault Kuma and Ivankov slip in to eat Devil Fruits, only for Linlin to crash in and snatch from Ivankov's grasp the Uo Uo no Mi, the Seiryu-model Mythical Zoan; Kuma gulps down the Nikyu Nikyu no Mi before she can take that one too. Elsewhere Garp finds the slain civilians and reaches Sengoku, who admits a single Marine once reported rumors of the hunt before vanishing, forcing Garp to accept the truth of what lies before him.
Rocks reaches Eris and Teach and bolts with them, but he is pursued by Garling, a second Knight, and a pack of demons, two of them his own father and grandmother, every wound he lands mending almost at once. Eris demands he set her down so he can fight unburdened, declaring she has wholly embraced the Davy Family and will guard herself and Teach, ready to take both their lives sooner than be caught and to meet Rocks again in Lulusia. He relents and turns to face Garling. At the vault Linlin weighs handing the Seiryu fruit to Perospero, a detail revised from Katakuri in Volume 114, but Kaidou assaults her and swallows the Seiryu fruit himself. The Roger and Rocks crews collide at the central treasure as Marines shoot down pleading civilians from an unaffiliated nation. After consulting Saturn, Imu, dreading the unpredictable fallout, descends to the island, possessing him and merging with his Gyuki form.
