Chapter 128, Pride (Pirate Flag), sends the crew sailing out of Little Garden bound for Arabasta, while Smoker, after catching a crucial intercepted call, decides to give chase to the same destination.
Aboard a Marine ship out on the Grand Line, Smoker has the recorded message played again and shouts at Tashigi until she pays attention. Reception is poor, yet a handful of telling fragments break through the static. Among them are a reference to a princess, the words Straw Hat, the name Mr. 0, and the mention of orders, with the princess identified as Vivi. Tashigi wonders whether the recording ties back to Mr. 11, and Smoker pressures the captured man into letting slip that he is indeed mixed up in the scheme.
Remembering that Vivi rules as Arabasta's princess, Smoker decides to head straight for that kingdom. Over on Little Garden, the crew is glad to have beaten the Baroque Works members when Sanji turns up and explains that a conversation with Mr. 0 had left him holding an eternal log pose. The cook and Zoro then squabble over who won their hunting contest, an argument that reminds the giants of the very quarrel that first set their long duel in motion.
As the Straw Hats sail off, the giants tell them to keep going straight ahead no matter what happens. A particular insect bites Nami, and the chapter notes that the Marines rely on Black Den Den Mushi for spying. In its original Weekly Shonen Jump run the opening story page appeared in full color, and the color spread cover carries the crew, Vivi and Karoo included, soaring through the sky on a flock of pterodactyls. The chapter belongs to the Little Garden Arc.
Smoker replays a garbled recording and picks out fragments referring to a princess, the Straw Hats, and Mr. 0, then works out that the mentioned princess is Vivi of Arabasta.
After identifying the princess in the intercepted message as Vivi, Smoker remembers that she rules Arabasta and orders his Marine ship to head straight for the kingdom.
Sanji explains to the crew that his phone conversation with Mr. 0, whom he tricked while posing as Mr. 3, left him holding an eternal log pose pointing toward Arabasta.
As the Straw Hats sail away from Little Garden, the giants call out to them to keep going straight ahead no matter what happens.
Zoro and Sanji bicker over who won their earlier hunting contest, and the pettiness of the argument reminds Dorry and Brogy of the very dispute that started their own hundred year duel.
