Robin recognizes the term and listens as Spandam taunts her about Ohara disappearing from the map twenty years ago. Begging him not to press the button, she flashes back to her childhood: a girl reading alone while boys pelt her with stones and call her a monster, an aunt who leaves her with chores and scraps while celebrating her own daughter's birthday elsewhere. After finishing her work, Robin heads to the Tree of Knowledge, where Professor Clover and the scholars surprise her with news that she has passed her archaeology exam and become a scholar.
