Summary

Stepping into the chamber where SAD is produced, Law gazes up at the enormous tank and smiles. With the shutter shut, the Marines dread that Sanji has been sealed inside with the gas, but he drops down from overhead carrying two unconscious soldiers and reports that Vergo suddenly fled. Vergo himself is bounding through Building B with Geppo while calling his superior to expose Law's treachery.

The view shifts to Dressrosa, where Doflamingo only laughs at the news even as an enraged woman whose arm has become a cannon keeps striking at him. Unfazed, he reasons that wrecking the SAD room and killing Caesar are precisely Law's aims, and that the loss of Caesar, the sole person able to produce SAD, would be ruinous. He introduces several of his crew and the chaotic scene surrounding him.

Key Events

Doflamingo commands Vergo to slay Law without an ounce of mercy and sends Baby 5 and Buffalo off to Punk Hazard, cautioning Caesar and Monet that Luffy wields Supreme King Haki and carries frightening promise. Back in Building B, the Straw Hats and Kin'emon work together to bring the smaller dragon down, combining Nami's Thunder Trap, Usopp's Green Star, Robin's restraining grip, and the finishing blows from Brook and Kin'emon. Once the beast is beaten, Nami catches sight of Chopper in Monster Point on a balcony above, fending off the berserk children.

Notes

This is Doflamingo's first appearance since the timeskip, shown amid newly introduced Donquixote Pirates, one of whom, Baby 5, can turn her body parts into weapons. Inside a checkup room, a girl recounts how the missing child Momonosuke slipped into a forbidden secret room and ended up transformed into a small dragon. Running through the chapter is Kin'emon's habit of mistaking the crew's various powers for ninjutsu. The cover places Caribou in the custody of Commodore Yarisugi at the G-5 base.
