The princess is exposed as a Donquixote assassin who, swayed by Sanji's stubborn trust, turns against her own side and lays bare Doflamingo's worldwide ruse just as the snare finally tightens around Law on Green Bit.
Thirty minutes ahead of the trade, a bloodied Sanji is on his knees before Violet, who confesses she had deceived him throughout as an interrogator digging into Law's scheme. Her Giro Giro no Mi grants her a window into his thoughts, yet she pulls back, sickened by how lewd they are. Hardly awake, Sanji maintains that he never once distrusted the tears she had wept, and the words truly rattle her. As her underlings step in to kill him, she instead strikes them down and cautions him about the sweeping fraud that Doflamingo, working through the World Government, has pulled off.
Back in the present on Green Bit, Robin links up with Law, who insists the two of them must clear the island right away; since she cannot lend him direct aid, they settle on splitting up to flee. Just then Doflamingo and Fujitora appear, and a taut standoff forms. Over at the arena the C Block free-for-all opens with Luffy eager to win the prize. Law charges Doflamingo with hoodwinking the whole world only to bag ten pirates, reasoning that pulling off such absurdity would demand the standing of a World Noble, and he recalls Vergo's caution about his blind spot regarding Joker's history.
Violet is shown to be an assassin of the Trebol Army who had read through Sanji's act from the beginning. Scanning his mind, she gathers that Law and Luffy have joined forces but cannot make out their purpose, driven off by his obsession with her. Moved that he had trusted her tears, she turns on her own comrades and lets him glimpse her morning memory: Doflamingo waiting on CP0, who informed the frightened citizens that the king's resignation was a blunder, to be retracted in a 3 p.m. special edition under a vow of silence. Sanji grasps that wielding the World Government lies past any Warlord's power. Fujitora reports the falsified bulletin to Sakazuki, who pledges to take the matter to the Five Elders.
Violet is unmasked as a member of the Donquixote Family, a Trebol Army assassin who consumed the Giro Giro no Mi, and she betrays her side to help Sanji alert his crew. Sanji asks her to flee with the Straw Hats. CP0 answers directly to the World Nobles. The public learns that Doflamingo kept his Warlord seat. Doflamingo and Issho reach the meeting ground just as the C Block battle royale begins. The exchange between Law and Doflamingo implies the Warlord enjoys a deep tie to the World Government that allowed him to fake stepping down.

When I first decided to commit to watching One Piece seriously, I knew I was embarking on one of anime's longest and most beloved series. With over 100...

The transformation everyone knows, the follow-up question nobody would touch. Why we made a smooth R&B track about the golden glow Dragon Ball never talks about....
In "Violet," Viola is revealed as a Trebol Army assassin who had been interrogating Sanji under the guise of a princess in distress. Moved that he still trusted her tears, she turns against her own comrades, strikes down the men sent to kill him, and warns him about Doflamingo's deception.
Violet's Giro Giro no Mi lets her peer directly into a person's thoughts. She uses it on Sanji to try to learn Law's plan, though she pulls back once sickened by how lewd his thoughts are.
Violet betrays the Donquixote Family because she is moved that Sanji never doubted her, even though her tears had been part of an act to interrogate him. She kills the men sent to finish him off and reveals Doflamingo's fraud instead.
Violet shows Sanji a memory of Doflamingo having CP0 tell Dressrosa's frightened citizens that news of his resignation was a mistake, set to be retracted in a 3 p.m. special edition, proving he secretly kept his Warlord seat with the World Government's help.
On Green Bit, Doflamingo and Fujitora corner Law and Robin just as they try to split up and flee, creating a tense standoff while Law argues that deceiving the entire world would require the standing of a World Noble.
