Chapter 759: Secret Plan

On the third level, Cavendish stares as Sugar's nutcrackers fall to bits by themselves and turn back into people, each toy revealed to have been forged from eight of her own servants. Bartolomeo cheers the return of his barriers while the others react to Sugar's collapse. One floor up, Luffy spies the injured Bellamy and orders Doflamingo to release him, but the warlord jeers at his old rival and raises Bellamy as a living shield the instant Luffy attacks. The blow catches Bellamy in the face, and Law barks at Luffy to rein in his temper, cautioning that surrendering to rage would prove as deadly as losing his life.

Spurred by Trebol's laughter, Doflamingo tallies everything the two pirates have cost him and insists his fury equals what he felt thirteen years back. Law replies that he would never be standing here otherwise, and Doflamingo retorts that, had none of it happened, Law would have become the third Corazon. He looses a string clone named Black Knight at Law and forces a sobbing, mind-controlled Bellamy against Luffy. Declining the bait, Luffy feints an attack toward Law, who fires Room to trade places with Doflamingo, leaving the warlord to eat Gomu Gomu no Red Hawk in the stomach.

Sugar's nutcracker force is exposed as a crowd of her own enslaved servants, each towering toy assembled from several people by the Hobi Hobi power. Bartolomeo regains his Bari Bari ability. Doflamingo severely wounds Bellamy and puppets him against Luffy, who by this point counts Bellamy a friend. The battle with the warlord starts in earnest, and Doflamingo suffers his first serious injury the moment Red Hawk lands. Perched on the throne after the swap, Law finishes by slicing Trebol apart with Radio Knife, calls Luffy the worst, and is reminded that Law belongs to the very same generation.

Among his grievances, Doflamingo names the ruined SAD Factory, the deaths of Monet and Vergo, the abduction of Caesar Clown, the freed toys, and the threat to the SMILE Factory, with images of those figures flashing as he speaks. The cover continues the Jinbe solo-voyage serial as the fish-man heaves the capsized vessel upright. This chapter is part of the Dressrosa Arc.
