Chapter 812

Stepping ashore, Pekoms and Bege find Kurau City emptied and wrecked, and Pekoms rages, pinning the ruin on the Straw Hats. Elsewhere in the fortress the two female crewmates exchange garments as a token of friendship while Sanji dotes on the lady minks. The Big Mom Pirates' appearance leaves Pekoms weeping with relief that his kin live, and he learns the visiting crew is the reason. A petrified Caesar pleads with Sanji not to give him up, confessing he siphoned research money from Big Mom while sheltering under Doflamingo.

The standoff turns when grateful Pekoms offers to drop their fresh assignment in trade for Caesar. Bege answers by shooting him in the back, opening a hatch in his chest to disgorge armed Fire Tank Pirates who ring the cook, then driving a Seastone spear into Caesar. Everyone is marched into his body castle. Seated inside, Sanji is handed a personal summons: at Big Mom's coming tea party, the cook, born third among the Vinsmoke sons, is to wed Pudding, thirty-fifth daughter of the Charlotte household.

Bege is confirmed as the companion who accompanied Pekoms ashore. The reason Wanda wears Nami's clothing is explained as a friendship swap between the two. Hiding behind the alias Caedar, Caesar admits he faked finishing Big Mom's commission so he could keep collecting pay. After Pekoms is shot, the crew is taken prisoner. Bege's power is identified as the Shiro Shiro fruit, and his bounty stands at three hundred million Berries. Sanji is named the third Vinsmoke son, pledged in marriage to Pudding.

The cover returns to Cocoyasi Village, where Nami's updated poster reaches Nojiko and Genzo, the latter once more enlarging it and grumbling about the photo. Introducing himself as a castle-bodied pirate of Luffy's own generation, Bege has Vito wheel out the captured Nami and Chopper. His threat of Seastone bullets proves a bluff, the spear being his only such weapon. Out of viable moves, a seething Sanji relents and enters the fortress for the meeting.
