Summary

Following Pudding's map, the rescue party sails on toward Whole Cake Island. They pass an island Nami refuses to dock at to dodge surveillance, and Pedro, who admits he has been to Totto Land before, points out distant oceans dyed grape from rivers of juice. A massive sea centipede then surfaces and the crew braces for a fight.

On Whole Cake Island, word spreads that Big Mom's affliction has flared and she now hungers for croquembouche. The tourists who could provide it have already left, so the residents scramble to bake some while she tears through Sweet City, devouring everything and everyone in her path. Her sixteenth son, Charlotte Moscato, the Minister of Gelato, tries to soothe her but is brushed aside as another obstacle; she strips forty years from his lifespan and drops him unconscious.

Notes

The chapter establishes that Big Mom suffers an eating disorder, introduces her son Charlotte Moscato, and demonstrates her power to drain a person's lifespan, a hint toward the Soru Soru no Mi. It confirms Pedro's earlier visit to Totto Land and that Jinbe handed Big Mom the poneglyph he was given. The cover is a One Piece Film: Gold color spread featuring Gild Tesoro, Sabo, Rob Lucci, and others.
