Charlotte Moscato

Moscato sets a heavy torso against markedly thin limbs. His drawn-out face is stubbled, and his pink-and-blue hair sweeps up at the front into a pompadour. He sports a dark blue jacket whose pauldrons are tasseled and shaped like scoops of ice cream, worn over a striped suit with a wide belt that reads SM on its buckle. Following his mother's assault, bandages were wound around both his forehead and his neck.

Deep affection for Sweet City and its residents defines Moscato. He brushed aside Mont-d'Or's warnings and confronted Big Mom directly, refusing to let her cravings flatten the city. That courage held even as she turned on him, and he kept pleading for her to stop after she had begun demanding his life. In the end, the sheer dread of her willingness to kill her own son broke his nerve and sent him fleeing. Despite what she did to him, he stayed loyal to the crew and his kin, later taking part in the chase after the Straw Hats.

Born forty years ago to Charlotte Linlin and her eleventh husband, Moscato arrived alongside his younger sisters Mash and Cornstarch as the eldest of the triplets. As Minister of Gelato he handles the sourcing and supply of gelato across Ice Island, and his officer rank in the Big Mom Pirates places lesser crewmates beneath him. He proved nimble enough to spring back from a swing his mother threw, even if he could do nothing to halt her, and he carries a long sword whose grip is fashioned like an ice cream cone.

When Big Mom's hunger for croquembouche sent her tearing through Sweet City, Moscato tried to soothe her as the hopeful citizens looked on. He vowed to fetch the desset quickly and would not abandon the city even as she struck at him with fire and lightning. His resolve finally gave way to terror, and as he ran she stole four decades of his lifespan, leaving him collapsed and believed dead. The Chess Soldiers carried off his body while Mont-d'Or had her Incarnations recover every second of the stolen years. He eventually recovered, and three days afterward he rode the Queen Mama Chanter during its strike against the Thousand Sunny, voicing his astonishment when the Sun Pirates' vessel took the Sunny's place. Much later, back on Whole Cake Island, he watched Vegapunk's global broadcast and was shaken when the feed suddenly resumed after cutting out.
