Shaking off the kick Sanji landed on him, Bobbin lulls his approaching subordinates to sleep, insists he needs no help, and tears off after Sanji, muttering that even demons turn up at Big Mom's tea parties. Over in the mirror realm, Nami, Chopper, Carrot, Pedro, and Jinbe find a reflection set inside Big Mom's bedroom. She lies fast asleep with Brook clutched in her hands, while Zeus, Prometheus, and Napoleon drift off around her. The team agonizes over how to free him.

Their plan is built around a decoy. From the execution chamber they take a skeleton, and from the kitchen they grab seaweed, building a decoy meant to pass for the captive. To let anyone step across, Jinbe places Brûlée within the mirror itself. Every attempt nearly turns fatal: Chopper sneezes and barely dodges a slamming hand, Carrot is mistaken for a fly and struck by Zeus's lightning, and Pedro retreats when Big Mom tosses in her sleep. At last her grip loosens, Nami slips in and rouses Brook, and when he shrieks at the skeleton in her arms, Big Mom flings Prometheus at the pair, only for Jinbe to pull them safely back.

As Sanji dashes through Sweet City, a dog leaps for his food basket and is brushed aside. He reaches the city outskirts and begins picking through the soldiers Luffy and Nami had earlier put down, hunting for his captain. Back among the mirrors, the freed Brook reveals his triumph: tucked away inside his skull are rubbings of all three of Big Mom's poneglyphs, copied moments before she returned. The team is astonished, and Chopper declares that only Sanji's recovery remains. Drawn by the sound of a growling stomach, Sanji follows it and breaks into a tearful smile as he discovers Luffy slumped against the toppled Kingbaum, asleep and faint from hunger.

Bobbin's bounty is listed at 105,500,000 Berries, and he is shown wielding a power that lulls others into sleep before he goes hunting for Sanji on his own. Napoleon demonstrates the ability to change into a sword. The rescue depends entirely on keeping Brûlée in contact with the mirror, which is what lets the team cross between worlds. Brook's success in copying the poneglyphs marks a once-in-a-lifetime feat the crew could not have managed without sparking open warfare.
