Bobbin

Short yet wide, Bobbin has oddly built proportions: his shoulders ride above his chin while his arms run to nearly double the reach of his legs. A broad grin and thick red lips rest below a white mask set with dark glasses that conceal his eyes, and a tall hat with a white tuft crowns him. He dresses in a pink shirt under a long, light-blue cape larger than himself, purple-and-black pinstripe pants cinched by a wide brown belt, brown gloves, and dark boots, with a massive sword carried across his back.

Bobbin is brutally cold, returning to Big Mom satisfied after reducing a whole nation to ash and caring nothing for islands unable to meet her tribute; he even offered to torch Fish-Man Island over its unpaid candy. Sure of his own power, he opted to pursue Sanji solo, and his greed and contempt for others' property showed when he grabbed meat from a basket Sanji carried. He tends to rock his head from side to side as he speaks and owns a trademark laugh, the Boyoyon.

Bobbin's first scene has him back on Whole Cake Island after burning a country that failed its candy payment, telling Big Mom such places must be wiped out and volunteering to give Fish-Man Island the same fate. Once Luffy beat Charlotte Cracker, Bobbin marched at the head of an army that swarmed and seized Luffy and Nami, dragging them to Sweet City. Later, while wandering Whole Cake Chateau, he reached for the meat in a bento Sanji had cooked for his captain and was booted into a wall for it. Bent on cleaning up the mess alone, he lulled his own approaching crewmates to sleep and dashed off after Sanji, only to be ambushed and shot by Vito, who afterward told Bege the job was done.

A bishop-class combatant entrusted with razing defaulting islands, Bobbin enjoyed a sizable reputation, and the Vinsmoke princes flagged him as a heavyweight of the crew; he also lent a hand in bringing down Luffy in Gear 2. His standout power radiates rays that send people to sleep as he bobs his head, though his guard slips easily, as Sanji's lone kick proved. The sword across his back runs about twice his height, but his command of it stays uncertain. The manga leaves his ultimate fate open, while the anime states outright that he died.
