The Vinsmoke Massacre Plot

Luffy and Jinbe dodge Big Mom's swings as Brook tears off his Luffy mask, stunning everyone by proving he survived. Big Mom, dazed between her shattered cake and the broken portrait, slowly grasps that Brook knew the picture's importance, and her crew braces for her breakdown. Pudding keeps firing at Sanji to no avail, until Daifuku knocks her aside and takes over, unleashing a genie from his belt through the Hoya Hoya no Mi. Sanji counters at first but is sent flying.

Inside the mirror world, Caesar drags a pleading Brûlée toward the venue to finish his task. Bege pins Luffy to keep his cover, then is ordered to kill him. Pedro engages Oven, whose Netsu Netsu no Mi heats a blade too hot to hold. At their table the Vinsmokes are bound in Perospero's candy and surrounded by guns, with Judge weeping while his emotionless sons stay unbothered. When Bege spots Katakuri's face drained white, he reads it as proof the plan is about to succeed and tells the alliance to insert their earplugs.

A mini story arc following the Beautiful Pirates begins on the cover. Pudding falters in her attempt on Sanji, prompting Daifuku, eater of the Hoya Hoya no Mi and Minister of Beans, to step in. Jinbe is confirmed able to use Armament Haki, the first fish-man in the series shown doing so. Pedro clashes with Oven, the Minister of Browned Food who ate the Netsu Netsu no Mi. Big Mom learns Brook is alive, Luffy first witnesses Brook reassembling his body, and the restrained Vinsmokes face their threatened slaughter as Bege launches his operation.

This chapter is part of the Whole Cake Island Arc. Reiju reflects bitterly that Judge himself stripped his sons of feeling, leaving them indifferent even to death. Perospero likens the family to cattle awaiting slaughter. Bege reassures Luffy that although Katakuri can glimpse the future, anyone holds the power to change it.
