Chapter 954

In Ringo, Kawamatsu protests Hiyori giving Zoro her sword Enma, the blade Oden paired with Ame no Habakiri, now passed to Momonosuke. Zoro agrees to return Shusui in exchange, but asks to visit Ryuma's grave, claiming he once fought the legendary samurai, which Kawamatsu dismisses as delusion. With six days left before the raid, Law has meanwhile bisected and disarmed Hawkins, forcing him to confess that Apoo had served Kaido from before their alliance ever formed.

Hawkins recounts how Kaido tried to absorb the Supernovas; with no chance of victory or escape, he submitted, while Kid and Killer fought until they collapsed. Law slashes him again and leaves, meeting the figure who enabled his escape and agreeing to follow along if it suits a larger plan. In Amigasa Village, Kin'emon decodes Yasuie's altered message, and on Onigashima, Kaido and Big Mom stun their commanders by announcing an alliance to seize the world.

Oden wielded two swords, giving Ame no Habakiri to Momonosuke and Enma to Hiyori. Zoro accepts Enma for returning Shusui and asks to visit Ryuma's grave. Law, freed by an unknown person, subdues Hawkins, who reveals Apoo's long-standing service to Kaido and that only Kid and Killer resisted the Emperor. Kin'emon decodes Yasuie's message, which adds legs to the Habu snake to make it a lizard, redirecting the meetup to Port Tokage in Udon. Apoo and the Numbers arrive for the Fire Festival, and Kaido and Big Mom reveal their world-conquest pact, with five days remaining before the raid.

The cover serial's fifth part shows the Fire Tank Pirates blocked at the Red Line by Marines guarding the Levely. Kin'emon explains Wano's six ports are all named for animals, Habu, Tokage, Itachi, Neko, Kaeru, and Mogura, and that the safe second route into the country runs through an underground cavern behind a waterfall to Port Mogura. The Numbers are shown for the first time, much to Queen's displeasure over their drinking.
