Selenian Luna

Luna was a young woman of striking figure, her long pale hair tied back into a ponytail with a single band. Her kunoichi outfit left little covered: a clinging top laced with fishnet across the arms and chest, shorts fastened by a star-marked belt, and fishnet stockings running up to her thighs. The same netting sheathed her arms from the hands upward, exposing the skin beneath and leaving her fingers bare.

Luna was a devoted servant of the Ninja Village, loyal enough to carry out her brother's assignment to shadow Blast, going as far as marrying him and raising a child at his side. Whether real affection ever grew from the arrangement is left unanswered. Blast himself described her as sharp-eyed and drawn to strong people much as he was, hinting that the attraction may have run both ways despite the mission behind it.

Eighteen years before the story begins, Void handed Luna a task for the good of the Ninja Village: get close to Blast, identify the brilliant scientist working with him, and probe the wealth and cutting-edge technology of the Agoni foundation. Under the name Maya she wed Blast and gave birth to Blue. She was later marked and slain in a fight against a servant of God. Convinced she had been on the verge of exposing Blast's hidden scientist, Void suspected Blast had known she was a spy and let her die, though the man's raw grief eventually put those doubts to rest.

After her death, Void was exploring a temple with Blast when it collapsed and he brushed against a falling mysterious cube. The cube pushed an illusion into his mind in which Luna and Stain, both wearing God's disguise, coaxed him into taking its power, an offer he finally accepted. During the Ninjas Arc she resurfaces only in memory, glimpsed cradling Blue in a flashback amid the clash between Blast and Void.

As a kunoichi she was a capable ninja and presumed master of many techniques, though the story never put her specific skills on display. She fought with superhuman speed and carried a katana whose scabbard bore a crescent emblem at its tip.
